sounds like patridge family drunk on Beck. sounds cool but organ is way too synthesized, play the real thing!

hey, thanks. i’ll take that.
no way, this track was MADE for the cheesy casio sounds! not sure my hammond could hack it. besides, in the first half of the 20th century, organs were the synthesizers designed to emulate the “real thing”–orchestral instruments.
(comments are the best.)

I Need Drums!! Guitars! Rock and Roll!! Great lyrics and a cool song but I know you guys can really rock this song out with the entire band! This could be a real hit. Please record it with some drums and a guitar solo, PLEASE!!! I could see this song going very well with a venti double shot frappuccino.

wat up? beck is sweet! oh yeah try putting some of these lyrics to a tune, and you might find some fame.
Climbing a mountain slowly Seems akin to something holy Weave your way Through threads green and gray up the cloud-filled side of wise and lowly. Each firm foot below the next Plant and rise, the earth and breath Pilgrim air Blue colored fair, Kiss the Sun, you weary one, and take rest. Shelter seek midst sloping land In crevice born from nature’s hand Snow ridden White ridge bidden The way is treacherous-dark and planned.

The beginning of “wrote a letter” reminded me of the B52’s Girl from Epanema Goes to Greenland (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuvqQ32IKh4) and then it sounded like squeeze and then, yeah, some drunk Beck-ness but by the time it was over it was 100% pure Good Night, States. Thanks for the intelligent lyrics and the intelligent music. You guys deserve to be heard. Love the song!

I think “River In The Dry” is the best song you all have made so far… incredible! Keep up the good work!

The EP rocks. Great job. It is a mello album - my family appreciates the subtle nuances.
Would love to hear more - looking forward to the next album!

Hey Steve It’s Meghan, I hope this isn’t creepy or anything ha. I have been meaning to send you and email or something but I listened to the city right after you left and it’s great. I’m surprised how much i like it, I’m just not sure which one is my favorite yet but they are all really good. I’m a little bummed there are now shows coming up around here. I hope everything went well last weekend and Congrats. Look forward to hearing more form you guys.
