Due to the fact that most people are vacationing this time of year, we have decided to take a vacation, too. We’re taking a 2 month break from our internet releases in order to catch our breath and allow you, the listener, to catch up with all that we’ve released thus far. Don’t despair! We’ll be back at it in October!
There has been some confusion about the nature of the internet singles. Just to clear things up, the reason that we’ve called them “internet singles” is because they are single, distinct songs that are released via “the internet(s).” We currently have no current plans to release the “internet singles” on any form of physical media (cd, vinyl, cassette tape, 8-track, etc.), so download away, or get your friends to burn you a copy if you hate downloads. (Also to clarify, In The Impossible Tension, someday may be released on physical media, but don’t hold your breath).
Our latest full-length album, Short Films on Self-Control has been racking up some good reviews lately. Go here to read some snippets from those reviews.
Three cheers for summer vacation!

…until the release of our next song!
This Thursday, May 15th, we will be releasing the yet-to-be-named second track of the In The Impossible Tension EP.
According to Steve, this second track has been very exciting to record and is “much more accessible than ‘Arsonist’s Blues.’” He has refrained from commenting more on the track than saying that it is “more accessible.”
So check the MUSIC page on Thursday (5/15) to hear what Steve means by “accessible.”
In other news, we finished up a majority of the writing of July’s Internet Single. We were going to record the rest of June’s Single, “She Wrote A Letter,” but Steve & Joe mistakenly forgot to pack the recording equipment! Thankfully, May is a “5 weekend” month, so we’ve still got time to complete the recording. These next two Internet Singles will be Summer Hits!
In other other news, we’ve decided to revamp the naming and ID3 tag structure on our Internet Singles, so if you care enough to have the singles the way we intended them, download or re-download them (for free, or pay again if you want!). Go! Do It!

We’ve got a new “Internet Single” available on the MUSIC page. It’s called “Arsonist’s Blues” and it’s the first track from a new EP called In The Impossible Tension that Steve has put together.
Some tracks from this EP will be available as our 15th-of-the-month download. “Arsonist’s Blues” is the first fruits of this Synth-Folk EP.
The track costs $1, but you can pay more if you feel so inclined. Mosey on over to the MUSIC page to purchase it! And listen to it on the player (above left)!
Let us know what you think!
